Collins Realtime Reporting has been in the business of providing impartial and independent court reporters to the legal profession and judiciary since 1981. The firm is owned and operated by a Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter with over 40 years experience in the field. Our primary service is reporting depositions and providing realtime connections for simultaneous text display to attorneys' computers. We have a wide range of litigation support services, including videoconferencing. In addition to traditional and realtime court reporting services, we offer Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services for persons with hearing loss.
Realtime has become the gold standard of reporting. Highly skilled stenotype court reporters utilizing the latest software and technology provide the most accurate instantaneous voice-to-text output at conversational speeds. One-half of our reporters have proven their skill by achieving realtime certification for legal proceedings and/or realtime translation for the deaf and hard of hearing. In comparison, only 5% of Texas court reporters hold the national Certified Realtime Reporter designation for legal reporting and less than 2% are Certified CART Providers.
